Please join me in asking the garages of Perth motor mile to stop using balloons on their forecourts.

They would probably argue that the balloons blowing in the wind are eye catching and draw peoples attention to their product and encourages them to come in and buy their cars, but in the end all they do is become ugly litter!

I’m sick and tired of seeing deflated balloons tied with ribbon caught up in the tree line along the Dunkeld Road and in the housing scheme.  In the past year or so I think we have all become more aware of single use plastics and how they are clogging up our oceans, these balloons are just another piece of useless non recyclable waste that will inevitably end up being swallowed by a dolphin somewhere!

So please sign this petition and lets see if we can get Perth motor mile garages to stop tying these useless balloons to their cars and help towards saving our environment.
