Greetings, friends, neighbors and concerned citizens!

As we near the holidays, and the threats of blizzard and bitter cold bear down upon us, let's not forget to keep the issue of public corruption as hot as chestnuts roasting on an open fire. I wish you all the best throughout the holidays, and I want to personally thank you for joining me in taking a stand against the heinous act of the brazen theft of public lands, misuse of park property, and the assault on public trust and common decency.
Please, someone give me another chestnut and for the next round use the low-sugar eggnog! But throw another log on that fire.
My silly jokes aside, won't you take a few minutes - once the temperature drops, shopping, feasting, gift-giving and clean-up is over, and you find yourself stuck inside digesting with a little time on your hands - to email and text people about this all too serious issue. Urge them (with urgency!) to sign the petition and spread the word, as we need an informed body politic. It is easiest to update the community through the petition. Thanks!
Here is the link to the WTTW segment that aired on Chicago Tonight on 12/20/2022. The reporter (Patti Wetli) interviewed my wife, a neighbor, Preservation Chicago and Friends of the Parks:
The title of the article is:
Growing Pressure for Park District To Demolish Unauthorized Museum Construction on Site of Landmarked Building in Humboldt Park
Thanks for all of you who have reached out to communicate your dismay and disgust at what the former Alderman has tried to do. I wish I could report otherwise, but our fight isn't over yet.
Happy holidays, Paula and Kurt
