LET'S GET TOGETHER AND HELP CHANGE THE CALENDAR TO HAVE FULL DAYS OF SCHOOL ON NON SKIING DAYS!  

CAVENDISH TOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WERE IN SCHOOL 54 HOURS LESS THAN NEIGHBORING DISTRICTS IN SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER ALONE!

-Cavendish Town Elementary School students were only in school for full instructional days 66% of the time in September, October and November.
-Cavendish only had a total of 341.94 instructional hours in those months.

COMPARED TO...

-Chester-Andover Elementary School students were in school for full instructional days 90% of the time in September, October and November.
-Chester-Andover had a total of 369.99 instructional hours in those months.

COMPARED TO...

-The Dorset School students were in school for full instructional days 95% of the time in September, October and November.
-The Dorset School had a total of 396 instructional hours in those months.

DON'T YOU THINK CAVENDISH TOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS DESERVE THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES AS OTHER KIDS?

CAVENDISH SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS HAVE SAID "NO" TO CHANGING THE CURRENT CALENDAR!  LET'S GET TOGETHER AND HELP THEM UNDERSTAND THAT HALF DAY TUESDAYS BEING DONE FOR OVER TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS DOESN'T MAKE IT "OKAY!"  OUR KIDS DESERVE THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES AS KIDS IN NEIGHBORING SCHOOLS!
