Let’s continue to sustain the momentum we’ve built by sharing news about the campaign using the hashtag #SaveNagaenthran, and by writing to our Members of Parliament. As President Halimah Yacob has been a strong advocate for the disabled community in Singapore, I am hopeful that burgeoning support from the public will help sway her decision towards granting Nagaenthran clemency.

Recently, Vice World News published an article highlighting Nagaenthran’s plight, and denouncing Singapore’s draconian measures against drug offences. Singaporean anti-death penalty activist Kirsten Han has also released an update detailing the administrative and bureaucratic nightmare faced by Nagaenthran’s family as they attempt arduously to visit him before his scheduled execution.
