Thank you for sharing the video from last week on your social media. Despite widespread calls to drop the prosecution against McBride, the Attorney-General Christian Porter hasn’t made any commitment to stand up for the brave whistleblower.
The brave whistleblower has performed his duty at great personal risk and he should be rewarded for that. Australians want transparency and the first step the government can take is to stop the prosecution against Mr McBride and stand up against the culture of impunity.
The Brereton report has only confirmed reports that we were already receiving within the Afghan community. I am extremely grateful to David McBride for speaking up and revealing the truth. Now as Australians we must protect one of our own.
