Para a Marvel usar o título brasileiro “Vingadores: Juízo Final” do filme Vingadores 5
O problema
We are opening this petition in the hope that Marvel will change the title of the movie “Avengers: Doomsday” (Avengers 5) which currently has the translation in Brazil in the movie database “Vingadores: Apocalipse”. Instead, we want a more appropriate name for the story that does not take so literally the translation of the term “Doomsday” in portuguese; something that references the Marvel comics with its brazilian translation, the Fantastic Four — “Quarteto Fantástico: O Dia do Juízo Final” (“Fantastic Four: Doomsday”), by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby — and that makes more sense for the plot established by the story.
The most appropriate title for Brazil [and Portugal too, perhaps] would be “Vingadores: Juízo Final” — a shortened form of “O Dia do Juízo Final” — and not “Vingadores: Apocalipse”, as this could cause strangeness and lack of meaning for the film, since there is already a Marvel story plot with the term “Apocalipse” that is directly linked to the mutant antagonist character of the X-Men: the Apocalypse.
We hope that with this petition, Kevin Feige Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso and their entire team at Marvel Studios will review the title for the film in Brazil and make this significant change.

Estamos abrindo essa petição na esperança da Marvel mudar o nome do título do filme “Avengers: Doomsday” (Avengers 5) que atualmente no banco de dados de filmes está com a tradução no Brasil “Vingadores: Apocalipse”. Ao invés disso, queremos um nome mais adequado para a história que não leve tanto a tradução ao pé da letra para a palavra “Doomsday” no português; algo que faça referência aos quadrinhos da Marvel com sua tradução brasileira, do Quarteto Fantástico — “Quarteto Fantástico: O Dia do Juízo Final” (“Fantastic Four: Doomsday”), de Stan Lee e Jack Kirby — e que faça mais sentido para o enredo estabelecido pela história.
O título mais adequado para o Brasil [e Portugal também, talvez] seria “Vingadores: Juízo Final” — uma forma mais abreviada de “O Dia do Juízo Final” — e não “Vingadores: Apocalipse”, pois isso pode causar estranhamento e falta de sentido para o filme, pois já existe um arco de histórias da Marvel com termo “Apocalipse” que está diretamente ligado ao personagem mutante antagonista dos X-Men: o Apocalipse.
Esperamos que com essa petição, Kevin Feige Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso e toda sua equipe da Marvel Studios revejam o título para o filme no Brasil e façam essa mudança significativa.
