Update : Mr Shrikant Patki, who is actively working in this space and Myself, met the Municipal Commissiionor, Dr Kailas Shinde today in his office. We represented all of us, supporters and the public and made an ernest plea to  Shri Shinde, to reconsider alternate options. We also reiterated that we are not against development, and are willing to work on this with NMMC, to come to a fesable alternate solution and save  these trees.
