So good to know we hit 4,000 signatures and now we can focus on 5,000 . So many great ideas being shared from school pods forming by parents in close proximity (with the help of teachers), to fine print dissection of the district's own policy.  The studies you all are sharing in medical journal databases like PubMed are great references. Thank you. 

To say these are trying times is a huge understatement.  It was great to read the memo that our Florida Department of Education recommended masks be optional on a child by child basis depending on the needs of that child. For many students, masks do not effect them. For many others, we see in our own homes, it is causing developmental issues and health concerns.

That memo was quickly addressed and we were informed that the masking policy would remain for now.  That gives me hope. 

I'm asking you copy the petition link, text it to local friends, family and neighbors in Palm Beach County and get 10 more signatures. Please consider reposting, sharing the link and reaching out for more signatures. We must speak for our children. It is our first responsibility as their parents. All children deserve to be protected, loved and nurtured. If we can't do that as a society then we've already failed.
