The petition is now almost twice as fast gathering signatures.  It went from about 28 signatures per hour to roughly about 46 signatures per hour.  It's getting almost 4x as many views per hour too.  So lots of people understand as a father, I hate to see my kids masked up 7 hours a day 5 days a week and having such negative consequences for it.  I felt sending my kids to their schools would be the best way to make life as normal as possible with as little deviation as possible from generations of what we Americans do. We get up, we make our beds, eat breakfast, brush our teeth, look for clothes that fit our personality for the day (especially kids) and we go interact with peers and we learn to listen to adults and develop a sense of pride in our lives.  Some chose to stay home.  It's all about choice. I was most concerned my youngest would not fair well in a mask but I worried about all 4 of my kids as any responsibile parent would.  I started to see changes and some health concerns almost immediately but they've been endoring. Now, as their dad, I'm more concerned.  My emails mostly went nowhere to all parties I reached out to. So, Easter, I just threw my concerns in to a Change.  Org petition.  With 30 signatures the first 24 hours I was pretty much scratching my head.  A very bright woman who I only know through Facebook said, "it's Easter Sunday give it a few days and you'll see lots will sign." Like any smart man I took the woman's advice and she was right. 

I've graciously declined 3 news interviews.  1 yesterday and 2 today.  There's not much more I need to say in a TV interview that you all can't get from social media posts I put out or from this petition itself.  I have made good friends with several news reporters over the past few years. Each plays an important role in our community giving us an alternative outlet for information.  Accurate information is vital in a free society.  

I want to sincerely thank each of you who took the time to sign AND more importantly who are promoting the petition by posting or copying and texting the petition link.  I hoped by tomorrow we'd have 3,000 but looks like we may hit that by 11pm tonight.  Let's see!!
