This is NOT enough warning and NOT NEARLY enough financial assistance! Board Certified Plastic Surgeons with experience with PAH Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia are few and far between. Getting this fibrous scar like tissue out can take MULTIPLE surgeries. In the most restrictive brocure I have seen since researching this issue to date, the have maxed out the financial assistance to a TOTAL of $7,500. Yet they ill push and sell you every area they claim is FDA cleared to treat including abdomen, flanks, under chin, banana rolls, etc. Imagine if like Linda Evanelista, you have multiple areas treated, develop PAH in those various treatment sites, and all Allergan is willing to do is offer you $7,500 in exchange for your voice (NDA) and in hopes that Ideal Image or whatever Coolsculpting provider who had to sell you these "cycles" aka treatments warned you A) what PAH even is - the complete opposite affect of what the fat elimination you are sold on B) how severe PAH can be and how long it can take to develop - some say 9 months to 1 year C) how PAH can be hard to remove and may require multiple surgeries to successfully do so and some may never be the same and definitely not better than before and D) that very few plastic surgeons can and have performed these surgeries and E) that the long term effects of PAH are UNKNOWN! How are the manufacturers of Coolsculpting - Allergan Aesthetics - only required to inform the provider of the adverse side effects and not the CONSUMER!? Please lets regulate this WILD WILD WEST they call the beauty industry before too many are further harmed. The reason this program has become more restrictive is because more and more PAH cases are coming out!
