Dog abusers are treated far to leniently. The law needs to change so abusers are sentenced accordingly instead of merely receiving bans and fines.

abuse of dogs should be punishable by way of prison sentences. This is the only way we can reduce cruelty to dogs. We need laws that actually protect dogs and any abuse should be dealt with on a case by case basis and not a standardized scale.

we have so many laws that punish minor offenses with prison sentences yet abusers of dogs always walk away with bans and fines or community orders.

this has to STOP. Dogs are living animals we have brought into our lives and domesticated for our own means and we have no right to allow cruel and unnecessary treatment of these wonderful loyal animals.
