We reject Oxfordshire County Council's proposals to reduce access to transport for children with Special Educational Needs. OCC's proposals amount to a significant reduction in provision, a reduction that will have a devastating effect on families who are already finding it difficult due to the complex needs of their children. Further disruption to these families will lead to untold harm by restricting travel to appropriate educational placements and services. We ask that the council rethink these proposals and give our children the opportunities they deserve by not restricting their access to education.
