I believe that teaching children to refer to animals with the word IT is irresponsible, imoral, cruel and simply wrong; by correcting this simple mistake, we can change the way we treat animals, but not only that, change the way people think about animals; instead of refering to them the same way we refer to a chair or bottle, refering to them as we refer to ourselves, let us not forget that we ourselves are also animals.
