After numerous requests from Councillor David Williams for Oxfordshire County Council to confirm whether they would be closing this shelter, finally Jim Leivers (Director for Children, Education & Families) wrote this week "Following the re-commissioning of our supported housing provision, One Foot Forward, the Iffley Road Hostel, will be decommissioned by 31st March 2015. We are working with the provider and Oxford City Council to ensure that the young people currently residing there safely transfer to other provision within the supported housing pathway".
