Did we save NYC's longest running jazz bar?

Thank you! What a tremendous response! Over 20,000 signatures for this petition right now. Clearly Arthur’s Tavern is an institution its community does not want to lose!

We learned that the management and musicians were all set to return June 1st. But in the middle of May the landlord -- the Blue Note Entertainment Group -- informed them they would not be reopening. Instead they were going to sell the building.

We saw the club doors open and its insides getting gutted and this petition was drafted and shared.

And then came your tremendous response. And now we have heard whispers.....

We reached out to The Blue Note Entertainment Group for an update. No news from them yet.

Meanwhile The Grove Street Stompers -- NYC's longest running gig -- and all the other music is still gone. We hope it will all return.
