Thank you all, I’ve continued to contact my local district representative, I’ve gotten no reply. Law makers do not care about the people they’ve sworn to represent! These signatures are a massive way to show them that this issue is unacceptable to us. We’ve made a lot of progress but we have a long way to go. Unfortunately these people in power won’t care until they see monumental support by the people. Call your local reps, email them, voice your outrage. If you’d like to help with the cause there is a very simple and effective way. Find the QR code for this petition, you can find it when you press share. Print out some copies of it. Take them into your local smoke shops and explain to them that you’ve signed this petition, explain the petition and ask them to post it near their register or front door, somewhere where customers will see it. Smoke shops are very targeted by this law, and of all the smoke shops I’ve brought the QR code into, all have agreed to share the QR code in their store. Thank you all for your continued support, and don’t give up hope. 3k is a huge milestone for us, but our goal is to get 100,000+ signatures. For our terrible district managers, they need to see that 100,000 people will not be voting for them next election. California is a testing ground for laws like this, and I appreciate everyone from out of state who has shared this petition. And for all the people who continue to tell me “a petition won’t do anything”, you’re right! Until this petition reaches very massive numbers it won’t! But that isn’t a reason to give up, it’s a reason to blow this issue up! We need large numbers and only then will lawmakers and district representatives make a change.
