I wanted to let you know that we now have 134 signatures on this petition. Thank you so much for your support! I promise I won’t be spamming everyone with emails. But, I wanted to provide an update on next steps.

I would appreciate if everyone continues sharing this petition to your friends and family via email/social media/WhatsApp to garner more signatures.

I have also emailed my local member of Parliament to let them know of this petition and urge them to escalate this to the House of Reps and a minister for a response.

I am aware that there are some work taking place in different states to improve the childcare safety regulation system, including in Victoria. But, this needs to be a nationally coordinated effort. The issues in the childcare industry are not new. We need our children to be made a priority. 

If more of us sign, we can’t be ignored!
