**CALL TO ACTION** - Send your email to San Jose City Mayor Liccardo and your Councilmember now, before the September 12 City Council meeting. Express your dissatisfaction and concerns with SJWC and ask the councilmembers to get involved and vote YES on taking actions related to SJWC (Agenda Item 7.2). Your email should reference "Negative Impact of SJWC on Ratepayers" and Agenda item 7.2. Get the word out. Post on Nextdoor, Facebook etc. SJ council members need to hear from us. They won’t know SJWC is a problem unless they hear from us. WRATES has sent San Jose Mayor Liccardo and the 10 district councilmembers our Position Paper on the Negative Impact of SJWC on Ratepayers. We have met with 2 San Jose councilmembers and have scheduled meetings with 3 more this week. Our goal in these meetings is to provide our findings regarding SJWC so the council with be well informed when rendering their decision at the September 12 City Council meeting.
