Let’s make it big - so please, share it with your networks, even with strangers –> e.g. if you are part of groups on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, Reddit, BlueSky, Twitter, What’s App groups, LinkedIn, etc), consider posting the link there. 

A few thoughts -> if you read the whole petition you must have seen a mention of the Great Littering Incident from Lake Tahoe… In 2023, some of the partygoers who decided to celebrate July 4th outdoors, surrounded by the beautiful, generous Nature, left behind 8500 pounds of trash!!!! 

Indeed, we just had the 2-year anniversary of the unfortunate event - but also the anniversary of hundreds of volunteers coming together to clean the mess, on the morning of July 5th. When you share the petition, you give those selfless people a voice. And when we support them, we are those people, more or less (clicks matter!).

Another event that just passed was International No Plastic Bag Day, on July 3rd… However, No Plastic Bag Day should be everyday. Please read here about simple ways to make that happen. Consider sharing this article, too, especially if you are a parent or teacher. 

But frankly, anyone who’d like to trigger good change in their community could follow one of the simple formulas in the article.
