Gratitude to everyone who signed already!
Some took a minute to share their thoughts. It is especially moving to read those comments. The petition doesn’t have enough signatures to make a change yet, mostly due to low visibility, but… each vote is deeply touching, with or without a testimonial.
Each vote is one person who cares, who maybe suffers while being aware of the global trash problem, and most importantly, who believes that change is possible 🌎 🤍 🪽.
Some may say, “Oh, it has only 229 signatures.” But… define “only,” because I imagine a room filled with 229 people who agree on one important matter! That’s a lot of people 🍀. So… dear 228 people (I am one of the 229 😂), please share this with your networks and let’s increase the chances for the Trash-Olympics to happen sooner rather than later. I know it will, but I’d rather have it in our lifetimes. Earth needs it 🌍 - so do we, the animals, and the children!
Okay… end of transmission! Thank you all once again.
P.S. As for tree bed in the photo - I cleaned it while training for the Trash-Olympics. One day, I took a few extra-large, heavy-duty trash bags and targeted three tree beds that had really been bothering me. They were spread out along a 2-3 miles route. I am fan of solo cleanups, by the way. But… you don’t have to do it, too. Sharing this petition is enough 😉. Thank you!!! 🌱
