The Chicago street of Kostner on the North West Side is a high accident problem street.  With many years of issues and area residents hoping for a resolution.  Often with those residents desperate for a clear solution - but frustrated in the lack of being able to come to a consensus. 

The local political leadership(s) recognize the problem.  And in varying degrees of desire to support the area have also tried to move forward with a solution.  None is clearly apparent.  Meanwhile - thousands of dollars of damage stack up on the street. 

And sadly - the lack of a solution means that an event will come when the consequences can not simply be solved with an insurance claim or speed bump.  The area residents and those nearest to that street know very well that - some serious injury or death - avoidable - is looming soon. 

We need help from Insurance companies, Political Leaders and residents to come to a final plan and solution - before its too late. 

Kostner - can not continue the way it is.
