We’ve built something powerful together.
In just 10 days, more than 1,200 people from across our community added their names in support. That’s not just a number—it’s a clear and unified voice.
This petition has done exactly what it was intended to do: demonstrate the strength and reach of community support. With that purpose fulfilled, this phase of the effort is now complete.
We’ve taken that momentum and turned it into action by submitting a thoughtful, data-driven analysis—organized by zip code—along with relevant educational policy information for the Board’s consideration.
I have submitted a request to be included on the April 14 Board of Education agenda and plan to be present to speak in support of our community regardless of the format.
Because of you, our voices have been heard—and this effort is moving forward in a more formal and constructive way. This is just the beginning. The road ahead may be long, but our community has proven that when we come together, we are stronger than we realize.
Moving forward, this effort will remain focused on a fact-based, well-supported, and constructive approach to ensure it is represented accurately and responsibly. I will continue to share updates so our community stays informed and engaged throughout the process.
