We’re nearly at 1,000 signatures — and now Cork is coming together!

Dear supporters,

Nearly 1,000 people, families, homes, communities and businesses have now stood up to say the same thing: our skies should not be turned into commercial delivery corridors without rights for the people living underneath them.

Thank you. Truly. Every signature, every share, every conversation with a neighbour has helped bring this issue out into the open.

On the 9th of May, Manna CEO Bobby Healy publicly stated that drone delivery is coming to Louth. That should concern every community in Ireland. What is happening in Dublin and Cork is not a one-off. It is the beginning of a wider rollout — and unless residents speak up now, the same model can be brought to other towns and cities before proper safeguards are in place.

Here in Cork, we are also taking the next step. Drone Action Cork is holding a community town hall this Tuesday, the 19th of May, to bring residents, communities and local businesses together to raise awareness, share experiences, and discuss what needs to happen next:

Please come if you can — and please bring someone with you. A neighbour, a friend, a parent from school, someone from your residents’ association, a local business owner, or anyone who is affected or concerned.

We are not opposing innovation. We are insisting that innovation cannot be imposed over people’s homes and community spaces without consent, independent monitoring, planning safeguards or environmental consideration.
