The ACT gas inspector said:

• there is definitively a gas leak
• I cannot locate gas leak on the property.. it can be anywhere
• potentially hazardous if a room fills with gas
• ... I do not have the legislative power to turn of the gas of a property
• ... replacement of a hot water gas system is not expensive
  • this one shows no signs of fire coming out as units paint is not burned as some other units I saw (my comment... glad to hear that..)
