Our children matter! Save Highland education and play services

Up to 40 secondary school teaching posts are still under threat as part of Highland Council's draft budget saving proposals. Closure of up to 185 play parks around the Highlands is also under discussion. Whilst we welcome the removal of recent draft proposals to axe education support posts, we continue to call on Highland Council to protect * all * education and play facilities in the Highlands when they make their budget decision on February 15th.  Our kids don't have a vote, but we as their families and carers do. Please sign this petition - our kids matter. We understand the Council has far less money than before, but ask that our elected representatives prioritise so they do not cut services for children. Save the jobs of people who we most see, value and respect, and save the services they deliver for our children.
