This week we learned that San Diego Unified's School Names Committee is prepared to go against our community's wishes of a restorative re-naming of Henry Clay Elementary by recommending Rolling Hills Leadership Elementary. We will be meeting individually with the board to ask them to disregard this recommendation and instead choose a name put forth by this community group. We are asking you to help us select this name by choosing between bell hooks or Bertha Pendleton AND sign the letter of support to be delivered to each voting school board member.
