10K! THANK YOU! The Monterey County District Attorney refuses to compromise and still believes Paul should be prosecuted for a felony. The preliminary hearing is now scheduled for two parts. There will be initial testimony 10:00 a.m., Friday, 1/8/16.The preliminary will be split into two parts, with the first part continuing as scheduled Friday and the second part being about two weeks later. I am losing faith in local leadership that seems to tolerate this prosecution. It's not enough that our son has autism, now, he must stress with an inflexible legal action that seems to ignore the facts about his autism, let alone the thoughtful comments on and sheer number of signers to this petition. I have not been sure how and when to share this petition with the Monterey County District Attorney's Office. It is up to you, but you may wish to let your opinion be known directly to the D.A. and/or his office.
