Guess what?? The Australian Association of Social Workers is the professional body for Child Protection Workers.

But...

Unlike teachers, nurses, doctors, psychologists etc CPS workers aren’t required to join a professional body.

This means they are not externally accountable to a registration board that maintain high standards of ethical behaviour.  

Combined with closed courts, media blocks, disinterested politicians, freedom of information exemptions and a profitable foster care system which needs child fodder what chance has a parent got?
