Savage was a black lab...He had been lost for a couple days from the Carroll Township area just outside of Oak Harbor, Ohio...while out looking for him the owners followed tracks to a mobile home right down the road from me. When owner approched and knocked the man said he saw and knew nothing and slammed door. Upon further investigation with local law enforcement the man admitted to shooting Savage in the chest...and removing his collar then hiding him in a 55 gal drum. More information has come to light that he stated the dog startled him when he went outside so he went in grabbed a shotgun (instead of the phone) and ear muffs then shot him twice. He removed his collar and drug him to the back of property to let "nature take its course" then decided to change his mind and HIDE him in a 55 gal drum. As a community we can only hope he is punished to the fullest extent of the law. This is being said in hopes that you will share Savage's and the Daniels family story. That this is not forgotten and find justice for this family. What else is this person capable of.
