On countless occasions, Mrs. Power throughout her teaching career at Ridgemont highschool, has abused her power and position as an educator to manipulate her students and spread hateful islamophobic views. Not only does she share her views on islam outside of class, she also brings biased islamophobic articles into her classroom  and gives students assignments based on those offensive articles. Moreover, she always makes the students in her classroom extremely uncomfortable. The students have tried to educate her in class, spoken to the principles and finally walking out of her class in protest, in hopes of Mrs. Power changing her ways, but we have seen no changes in her teachings and comments. On behalf of us students, we want real disciplinary action taken against Mrs. Power.
