We still have a serious democracy crisis on our hands, with Trump effectively threatening to fire the man investigating him for a criminal coverup of efforts to swing the 2016 elections. But the 2018 elections, with a few exceptions in Georgia, North Dakota, and Texas, seem to have been relatively unmarred by antidemocratic tampering. Maybe ODIHR was right that the threat of a serious attack on these elections was low.
