Please put laws in place that protect animals on board a plane. No animal should ever be placed in an overhead bin. Flight attendants warn passengers that baggage can shift in flight during the safety instructions. For this reason alone, no living creature should be placed in these compartments. Every living soul on board a plane should be within view of others. Animals in the cargo hold should be monitored by a human and if that’s not possible then animals shouldn’t be transported in this fashion. Regulations should also be in place that would result in the immediate termination for any airline employee that forces a passenger to treat their pet in an inhumane way.
