ORLY and Muslim Girl have teamed together to make a wudu friendly, halal nail polish.

One of the names of these colors is called "What the Fatima," a play on words of "what the f-(word)."

The purpose of this petition is to request ORLY and Muslim Girl to change the name of the offensive nail polish.

The name Fatima originates from one of the most significant women in the religion of Islam. The daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings upon him and his family), She defined purity, strength, courage, and power.

The aim of Muslim Girl and their founders is to promote Muslim Women Empowerment, a movement that we firmly believe in. We also need to continue to empower Muslim businesswomen and enable them to prosper. To insult one of the greatest and strongest female role models for over 1.8 billion people is contradictory to the aim.

Most importantly, the choice of words is offensive, disrespectful, and vulgar to represent such a significant individual, the blessed daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings upon Him and his family).

After several attempts of contacting both ORLY and Muslim Girl to no avail, we have decided to request the help of the community. Be it your love, faith, or reverence, we encourage you to stand up for someone who the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings upon Him and his family) literally stood for.
