Charge sheets filed against JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited (A wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Steel Limited)

On 9th MAY 2024 THREE YOUNG ENGINEERS DIED IN AN ACCIDENT IN HSM03 PLANT OF JSW VIJAYANAGAR METALLICS LIMITED, TORANGALLU, BALLARI DISTRICT.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Torangallu and the Senior Assistant Director of Factories, Ballari conducted a fair investigation and filed the charge sheets against JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited officials.

The charge sheets clearly detail the safety, operational, procedural and communication lapses of the company and the officials responsible for the accident. We express our sincere thanks in this regard to the DySP, Torangallu and SADF, Ballari.

1) Case # P.C.R. 2/2024 filed at CJM Court, Ballari by Senior Assistant Director of Factories, Ballari

2) Case # 1122/2024 filed at Civil Court, Sandur by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Torangallu.
