An Anatomy class at Orange County High School, Virginia, is raising baby chicks for their class and the teacher has decided that instead of working on finding loving homes, they will be sent to slaughter because they are roosters and oftentimes, male chickens fight if there are too many of them in relation to the females. While this is true, Orange Animal Liberation has gotten together a petition and found students at the High School with farms of their own, willing to take these baby chicks in, preventing them from being slaughtered. Please sign this petition if you agree that chicks raised in classrooms should either not be studied in the first place, if homes are not decided ahead of time, or be sent to students with farms that do not require them to be killed.
