As we have stated before, this will be a marathon and not a sprint. We are making progress but we cannot let the momentum fade. Tomorrow July 14th the Orange County Board of Supervisors will be meeting. The public cannot call into this meeting but we can send emails that will be on record. See quoted text below:
"Members of the public may visit https://board.ocgov.com/board-meeting-media-archive to view live Internet broadcast of Board meetings, may listen to the live meetings by calling (866) 590-5055, Access Code: 4138489, and may send comments to upcoming Board meetings by emailing response@ocgov.com. Comments submitted before the start of Board meetings will be part of the public record and distributed to the Board members for their consideration."
The meeting starts at 930 AM so send the emails asap! The Board of Supervisors are elected officials and care about us, or at least our votes. Lisa Bartlett is the 5th District Supervisor which is where Laguna and Aliso trails are located. Let her know how to keep us happy. We are just shy of 4500 signatures and we are getting more everyday. Keep fighting, keep riding.
