Almost 800 signatures and a track endorsement for those who can't have a look over the fence

The petition was recently signed by John Langfield, DSA. He was one of the earliest supporters of getting motorcycles onto the former Harness Racing Track. 

John's views are that the facilities need some general maintenance and with the required safety fencing, would not be far from being licensed for motorcycle events. John also said if the venue was brought up to standard and complied with State Government requirements, it would attract National and International competitors, teams and visitors to the city.

These are encouraging words from a Motorcycling Australia Safety Inspector, and a former International competitor who has seen and experienced many many Speedway and Long Track venues and taken home his fair share of titles.
