I deeply appreciate everyone who has already signed this petition! Like me, you believe that we cannot and should not remove homeless people's Charter-protected rights, just so our governments don't have to be responsible for providing housing, let alone shelter and other resources.

You also know this is a dangerous precedent to set: do we want to live in a country where instead of fulfilling their responsibilities to us, governments can instead remove our rights?

I know I don't. And not having a home should never invalidate your human rights.

If you can, I would appreciate it if you could share this petition — we have the momentum, and we need to keep it going! Post the link on your social media, or send it to someone you know who, just like us, believes in protecting people's Charter rights.

Thank you again for your support! Together, we can stop this!
