During the special use hearing for the proposed dispensary at 620 N Fairbanks last Friday, representatives from Alderman Hopkins' office, SOAR and members of the Streeterville community voiced opposition to the dispensary's application. However despite these objections, the Chicago Zoning Board of Appeals approved the dispensary's application by a vote of 3 to 2. 

SOAR will continue to work with Alderman Hopkins' office on any possible next steps regarding this proposed use.
