I'm overwhelmed with the support shown for this cause in the less than 24 hours since I've started this campaign.

It has recently come to light that this attempt to trademark "Hare Krishna" and "Hare Krishna Movement" has happened and is happening in many countries of the world. 

This petition will be used to advocate prevention of those trademark claims that are pending and to reverse claims that have already been approved such as in Australia.

We can all accept that the names of God are non-different from God. Thus to claim ownership of Krishna's names is to claim exclusive ownership of Krishna. His emissary Srila Prabhupada directly instructed not to do this. There is no ambiguity in this.
