To make a difference, we need to fully participate in this evening's, February 5, City Council hearing on the Comprehensive Plan by the Committee of the Whole, chaired by Joy Hollingsworth. She is offering childcare and assured that each testifier will get two minutes. (Please practice and time your testimony.) 

The hearing is at 5 PM. CM Cathy Moore has encouraged people to come in person if at all possible. Please also email your remarks to the Council.  That’s council@seattle.gov 

There will be a line outside the Council chamber, starting possibly 4 pm. Sign-up will start at 4:30. They will go until everyone is heard, so come after work if you need to. Calling in is a less-preferred alternative. Just sending email also counts. Everyone should do what they can. 

If you choose not to speak, you can go up in a group of 3 to 5 and the spokesperson can ask for 5 minutes.
