We wanted to update you following our peaceful protest outside Basingstoke and Dean Borough Council's drop-in session on Wednesday.

It was very soggy in the rain but, it was wonderful to see the community coming together and fighting for this valuable green space, and its inclusivity for all demographics. It was also interesting that we did not encounter one single person who was supportive of the development. The people we spoke to, like us, were not happy with the ill thought-through plans and want to hold BDBC to account for the decisions they are making within the town.
