Dear Supporters,

We’re fortunate to have a strong core group of individuals committed to holding Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council accountable for their decisions, especially when it comes to protecting our green spaces and the wildlife that depend on them.

While the Council appears to control much of the narrative through the Basingstoke Gazette, we’re working hard to ensure the public sees the full picture.

We’re currently preparing a number of documents ahead of a public consultation that will be crucial in opposing plans to destroy this beautiful park in the heart of Basingstoke. The park is used by thousands—including sports clubs, dog walkers, cyclists, and many more. Personally, it’s a vital space for my own wellbeing—daily walks with my dogs provide much-needed headspace and peace of mind.
