URGENT UPDATE - NEW PLANNING APPLICATION – PLEASE OBJECT AGAIN!

DEADLINE: 20 November 2026

Miller Homes has submitted a new application for up to 128 homes at Rounds Gardens (R26/0914), despite the previous 115-home scheme being dismissed at appeal.

The proposals would mean:

Loss of around 78 individual trees, many with TPOs, along with around 14 tree groups.

Loss of 34% established wildlife habitat.

A controversial one-way system and the loss of 36% of parking capacity on Princes Street.

Loss of valuable green space and changes to natural drainage.

No affordable housing and very limited contributions towards local services.

IMPORTANT – WE NEED NEW OBJECTIONS!
Previous planning objections do not automatically carry over to this new application.

Please submit a fresh objection by 20 November 2026, quoting R26/0914, through Rugby Borough Council's planning website.  Templates are available in the petition.  Petition signatures are not formal planning objections.
