Important Update on Kingston Council planning application

Hello all,

A big thank you to all of you who have supported the opposition of the planning application to build a 5 storey dwelling at 19-23 Central Ave. We have over 200 supporters and the petition was lodged to Kingston city councillors last week.

This week, the agenda for this coming Wednesday’s planning meeting was released online.  Below is a link containing Beau McKenzie’s report to SUPPORT this application!

The final decision to approve this application will rest with the Kingston City councillors who have not sought community advice about changing their guidelines for the Moorabbin Activity Structure Plan.  

I urge you to reach out to all_councillors@kingston.vic.gov.au to formally express your concerns over this development and the lack of community consultation in altering the guidelines.

Through this online forum and by attending the planning meeting next week, we will continue to fight on your behalf, even if it means going to a VCAT appeal.
