Just letting everyone know that Anwar Aman has withdrawn the application for the conditional use permit for the c-store at Carriage Crossing:

I also confirmed this verbally with a couple of members of Collierville government. I went ahead and made a public records request late this afternoon just so we have it in writing, but I believe this means that we will not need to attend the BMA meeting on Monday night for this purpose.  I have informed our attorney and other individuals that will be travelling. So, it appears we have won the battle but may still have more to come in the larger opposition efforts if/when Mr. Aman re-applies.

If you would like to contribute to our legal fees, you may still do so at:

I have not received an invoice from our lawyer, but I estimate we have roughly $1,300 in legal fees to date. We have raised $300 so far, so please consider contributing to the GoFundMe instead of the Change.org site if you are so inclined. Thanks for all your efforts, and I will update you on any new developments.
