HB466 TOMORROW - FLOOR DEBATE & VOTE
TOMORROW (Tuesday - 5/9) is when Rep. Dodie Horton will be bringing to the House floor HB466 - the "Don't Say Gay" bill she sponsored. They will have a time to debate the bill and ask questions about it before voting.
If you've not yet SHARED this petition with others in LOUISIANA (only), please do so now.
We need as many OPPONENTS as possible to this homophobic/transphobic censorship bill before MIDNIGHT tonight.
At that time, we will declare "victory" with this petition and send it to the House members' emails before tomorrow morning when they head to the full chamber for debate.
Remind them of how harmful and hateful this and similar bills are to our children, our brothers & sisters, our parents, and friend who are students, teachers, staff, or members or extracurricular groups (like the Gay-Straight Alliances) in public schools in Louisiana.
