A recent update from CEC states that the council have agreed to postpone the implementation of this proposal until they have looked into this is more detail. 

This is great progress so we cannot sit back on our heels now. Please continue to share and hopefully we will see more positive news from CEC soon. We currently have  1464 signatures on this petition, so please consider sharing this petition with ten other people on social media.  Facebook groups, SMS chats, Twitter, email and WhatsApp all work great. If more of us sign, we can’t be ignored!
