Yesterday the Parish Council voted to approve the regulation allowing C and D Landfills in the Parish.  This means that C and D landfills will be a located in the Parish before long.  Now the focus needs to be opposing the locations that will affect the most populated areas. 

If you live near a proposed site and rely on a well for your water, you should be very worried.  The proposed site on Highway 442 has the potential to contaminate all the wells in the area.  

Now is the time to oppose these locations.  We need your help to spread the word, as many in the area are not aware of this proposal and the potential dangers involved.
