To the heroes of the day. From Sierra Lawe, to Bud Carr, Clay Clyzo and all the warriors here in Sams Army. Everyday we accomplish something new and never before seen. Coming together for something greater than ourselves and letting nothing stand in our way. Give thanks and know that we feel your strength.

Our first teams are up and running, establishing satellite camps and getting the groundwork down for when supplies begin to arrive.

A huge shout to the Darrington Forest Service for hearing our concerns and being willing to meet to determine a path forward that serves both of our missions.

I’m happy to say that we have been cleared to fly our command into the mountains. This is beyond amazing as it will give our SAR members the support they need to work effectively and most importantly safely in a hazardous environment.

Your support is everything and it continues to fuel us as we push ever forward.
